Prayer & Healing

To strengthen the church’s spiritual communion with God, each other, and the world, members of the Prayer & Healing Circle pray daily at noon for people and issues raised during Sunday worship or made known to them directly. Those trained in the Japanese healing practice of Reiki perform distance healing at the same time. (Reiki—which comes from the Japanese Rei, meaning “God’s wisdom or the Higher Power,” and ki, which means “life force energy”— translates in English as “spiritually guided life force energy.”)

As long as covid-19 remains a reality, the Prayer & Healing Circle invites the congregation to join them every Wednesday at noon to pray specifically for the coronavirus crisis. Click here for a flyer.
